The GentleMax™ laser is a long-pulse laser an intense but gentle burst of light penetrates deeply into skin tissue, where it delivers a controlled amount of target, therapeutic heat. A special dynamic cooling device is used during treatment to cool the skin and to minimise discomfort. Safety around lasers is important, so you will be provided with protective eyewear for your procedure.

Two to three treatments are usually required to achieve the desired results for most conditions.

The Healing Process
Side effects are rare and pain is uncommon. However, following treatment, there may be some temporary swelling at the treatment site that may last up to two hours or longer. Ice packs should be applied to the treated areas for the first 24 hours to reduce discomfort and swelling.
